Our Core Values and Services
Our agricultural development model is the Nucleus with smallholder out-grower support models in communities where it is applicable or where it can be sustained as a standalone. We are into the development of the maize, soya bean, cowpea, rice, and vegetables value chain with smallholder out-grower farmers providing mechanization, seed and chemical inputs, extension and agronomic support to ensure that they do not fail out of the needed knowledge and support gap.
Smallholder Out-grower Model
Working with the smallholder communities and establishing Nucleus Farms requires proper community entry.

ABOUT US
Company Background
CAAD was born out of sheer passion to better the lot of smallholder farmers considering how most of the aged continue to toil and work their lands while their contemporaries in other professions retire with pension benefits. These observations were done by the CEO when he started engagements with smallholder farmers in the northern parts of the Volta Region and the Northern Regions in 2008. After 10 years of working with smallholder farmers CAAD was incorporated in 2018 as limited liability company specialized in the design, development and management of large scale farms as well as smallholder models under irrigation and rain-fed conditions. We are also into designing and implementation of socio-economic, livelihood empowerment and intervention programs as well as consultancy in Irrigation engineering, agricultural land use planning and agricultural practices.

We currently operate in the Mamprugu Moagduri and West Mamprusi Districts of the Northern Region and Builsa South District of the Upper East Region. We have plans to extend our operations to the Upper West and Volta Regions of Ghana.
Partnership and Collaborations
We have the potential to produce listed crops on demand and as part of CAAD’s ambitions to realize its vision, we are identifying new partnerships and collaborations with the food and feed industries in the area of off-taker markets where parties sign off Memorandum of Understanding as well as contracts on produce quantities and price for production and delivery.
